Stay & Scream allows guests with daytime park admission and a valid Halloween Horror Nights ticket to remain inside Universal Studios Florida during the evening park transition.

Instead of exiting the park at closing time and waiting in the massive general admission lines outside, you stay inside. Universal opens select haunted houses early exclusively for these guests. You knock out multiple headliner houses before the general public even steps through the front gates.

How to Access Stay & Scream

Getting into the early access zones requires proper planning. You need two separate items for the exact same date:

  • A valid daytime ticket (or annual pass) to Universal Studios Florida.

  • A valid Halloween Horror Nights ticket.

Once you are inside the park, you grab your required wristband at designated distribution locations like Guest Services, King’s Cross Station, or Villain-Con Minion Blast. This wristband proves your eligibility to team members when the early queues form.

The Ultimate Afternoon Timeline

Knowing the schedule helps you maximize every single minute.

  • 2:00 PM: Universal opens Jack and Oddfellow early for wristband holders. Jack and Oddfellow is located behind New York New York, and is an awesome throwback to an early original IP for HHN.

  • 4:00 PM: Additional haunted house queues open across the park.

  • 5:15 PM: OZZY begin welcoming guests through their doors. If you are a big music fan its a must. The house is really more of a tribute to Ozzy than a true scary house. But, it’s still a must do. The music really makes the house.

  • 6:30 PM: The event officially opens to the general public, but you already finished two or three houses.
