Interactive Wands: You can buy a wand at Ollivanders. Then, follow the gold medallions on the ground. A flick of your wrist makes umbrellas rain or statues dance.

The Hogwarts Express: This is a gentle train ride between the two parks. It features a magical screen for a window. There are zero drops, but plenty of “wow” moments.

The All-New DreamWorks Land
If you have little ones, this is your home base.

Shows That Rival Broadway
Some of the best “rides” at Universal don’t move at all. Universal has invested heavily in stunt shows and high-tech theater.
The Bourne Stuntacular
This is arguably the best show in any theme park right now. It uses a massive LED screen and live actors. You will see car chases and fistfights that look impossibly real. It is thrilling, but your seat never leaves the floor.
Horror Make-Up Show
Don’t let the name scare you! This is a hilarious comedy show. It teaches you how movie monsters are made. Adults love the humor, and kids love the “gross” special effects.
CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular
End your night at the Universal Studios lagoon. This 2026 show uses drones, fountains, and movie music. It is a breathtaking way to see the park without any motion sickness.
Gentler Rides for Adults and Kids
If you still want to “ride” things, you have plenty of options. These attractions focus on story, not gravity.
E.T. Adventure
This is a classic for a reason. You hop on a “bicycle” and fly through the forest. It is nostalgic, smells like pine trees, and features a very gentle track. It is a “must-do” for every age group.
Villain-Con Minion Blast
This is one of the newest additions to Universal. You stand on a moving walkway and use a “blaster” to hit targets on a screen. It is interactive and fun. Since you are standing up, there are absolutely no drops or scary turns.
Seuss Landing
This entire land at Islands of Adventure is a coaster-free zone.

The Cat in the Hat: A slow-moving “couch” takes you through the story.

High in the Sky Seuss Trolley: This elevated train gives you a great view of the park. It moves slowly and safely above the crowds.
